Goolarri Media has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the development and implementation of festivals, events and conferences born from the management and staging of the nationally acclaimed Stompem Ground Festival over a decade.
Also among Goolarri’s special events are the Kimberley Indigenous Performing Arts Showcase, Kullarri NAIDOC Festival, Shinju Matsuri and Kimberley Girl. Goolarri’s three event venues are dedicated to showcasing entertainment and catering to a corporate market. The Gimme Club and Goolarri Outdoor Venue are suitable for major productions whilst the newly opened Goolarri Conference Centre comes fully equipped with the latest technology, meeting all the needs of the corporate client.
Music
Goolarri Media offers support and assistance to emerging and established Indigenous musicians whilst also acting as a resource base for information and administration support. Goolarri also undertakes ongoing music workshops for participants from around the Kimberley providing music skills, business and management knowledge to local indigenous musicians. In addition Goolarri has partnerships with state and national industry stakeholders to focus on the development, distribution and rights of Indigenous musicians and their works highlighting activities under four main areas – professional development, marketing and promotion, resources and industry development.
