Day 3 - Kimberley Girl Canberra Trip

Wow! What an exciting, fun and fruitful day we had today.

Began the day with breakfast in Liz Davenport's penthouse suite overlooking Lake Burley Griffin before heading to Parliament House where we met with an array of Senators and Members of Parliament promoting the Kimberley Girl program.

We walked miles throughout Parliament House, had lunch in the courtyard and got requests for more meetings as the day progressed.

At 5pm we went for afternoon tea at Government House with the Governor General. What an incredible and inspirational woman she is.

She spent nearly 2 hours with us talking with the girls, sipping tea and eating some very tasty passionfruit cheesecake.

Of course we had to do the touristy thing and took lots of photos.

We are now incredibly exhausted and will have a quiet night before heading back to Parliament House tomorrow.
